Aim
BIM Panguripan Journal is a multidisciplinary journal dedicated to the dissemination of community service and community engagement activities that apply science, technology, arts, innovation, and local wisdom to address real-world challenges and improve the quality of community life.
The journal aims to provide a scientific platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, students, community organizations, government institutions, and other stakeholders to share innovative and evidence-based approaches to community empowerment. Particular emphasis is placed on activities that transform academic knowledge and technological innovation into practical solutions that contribute to sustainable livelihoods, community welfare, social justice, environmental sustainability, and the advancement of civilization.
BIM Panguripan Journal promotes collaborative and participatory approaches that position communities as active partners in identifying problems, developing solutions, implementing programs, and evaluating their impacts. The journal also encourages the integration of humanitarian values, transcendental perspectives, Islamic values, and local wisdom into community service activities while respecting cultural diversity, human dignity, environmental sustainability, and community needs.

Community-Based and Participatory Orientation
BIM Panguripan Journal particularly welcomes community service programs that demonstrate active collaboration between academic institutions and community partners. Articles should clearly describe the community needs or problems addressed, intervention or empowerment strategies, implementation processes, community participation, outputs, outcomes, and lessons learned.
The journal encourages approaches that move beyond one-way knowledge transfer toward participatory, collaborative, sustainable, and measurable community engagement. Community members should be positioned as active partners in the development and implementation of solutions.
Expected Contributions
Articles published in BIM Panguripan Journal are expected to demonstrate one or more of the following contributions:
- Improvement of community knowledge, skills, or capacity;
- Adoption or implementation of appropriate science and technology;
- Improvement of community productivity, livelihoods, or economic opportunities;
- Improvement of health, education, or social well-being;
- Strengthening of environmental sustainability and community resilience;

- Strengthening of sustainable collaboration between universities, communities, government, industry, and other stakeholders.
Through these contributions, BIM Panguripan Journal seeks to promote science, technology, innovation, arts, and knowledge as instruments for community empowerment, sustainable livelihoods, social justice, environmental stewardship, and the advancement of a dignified and prosperous society.
